We are proud to present the 5th edition of the Clarinet Festival & Masterclasses ‘Ciutat d’Alcudia’. As the last edition, we are delighted to announce the return of Andrew Marriner, principal clarinettist at the London Symphony Orchestra and professor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
We look forward to opening our doors to enthusiastic clarinettists from all over the world to work and perform in a historical heritage, beautiful and unique location.
This year we will continue with the Festival at the magnificent courtyard of the Ca’n Torró’s Public Library. Our “Chamber concerts in the town” series will encompass concerts in specially chosen areas of the town, allowing our students to play the core of the clarinet chamber music repertoire.
Moreover, our enterprising spirit make us to offer a new brand of activities. We incorporate the ®Resonance training for musicians by our special guest Maria Busqué, as well as we will also introduce a lecture on 'Relation between sports & music"
Place for masterclasses: Auditori d'Alcúdia
The music school is inside the Auditorium, constructed in 2000. The school it boasts immaculate practice rooms, each air conditioned with up-right pianos.
The masterclass will be held in the main concert hall provided with a grand piano.
Place for concerts: Ca'n Torró Library court yard
The Ca'n Torró Public Library is a beautifully restored 500 year old Renaissance style mansion. A perfect place where music and art can go beyond.

TUITION FEES & APPLICATION
The Mallorca Summer Academy will take up to 10 clarinettists to participate at the 5th Clarinet Festival & Masterclasses 'Ciutat d'Alcúdia'.
• Active student: 330€
Tuition fees include:
• Listener to masterclasses 75€. Listener with Half Board accommodation 190€
Due to the large number of applications, we will only reserve and confirm the successful applications once the payment have been received. The system will be first come first served. TO APPLY CLICK HERE
*Concert Platform requirements:
All applicants who are interested on participate for the Concert Platform are required to send a CV and an online video (by youtube or vimeo) with two contrasted pieces, free of choice.
The panel will award up to 4 clarinettists who will play a full or half recital, depending on number of participants selected.
